Long Run

.<.......as slow as! How 22km can feel like 100km is beyond me!

On Range Road there was hardly a car to be seen, but the 3km down & then back up Macquarie Pass was a nightmare! 3km of winding road & hairpin bends with cars & bikes racing like lunatics!

I did the miles with a lot of difficulty & disregarded the time it took (3hours!!) - put in a walk break of 1 minute after each km; carried water, but found this morning's run really REALLY hard!

  1. I don't know about you, but it's been getting so much harder to run here in Bris since the weather started heating up... makes everything feel twice as long!

    Keep up the good work!

  2. Must be awful running near traffic, especially coming around hairpin bends.

    Be Careful !!!!

I'm sure the Six Foot Track stroll will seem like Paradise by comparison.

  3. I have the utmost respect for your runs on that stretch of road now that I've checked it out!

I look forward to joining you on the Range Rd / Macquarie Pass one day soon.

Be careful on that road CB - don't become a flat turtle.

  5. LL maybe you should not stay up so late playing around on your computer ;-). (Just kidding. Here am I posting this at 11:40pm on a Sunday night).

Hope you were able to download your 22k run and see how your pace/HR responded to the curves and hills.
