Days 9 & 10 - Easy Days.

Today would normally be a "Hills Session", but I took an 'Easy' day instead.

An easy jog, East Bowral, along a sealed road part of which Ewen has selected for 15oom training sessions.. ...did about 40 minutes easy jogging.

Official results Blackmore's 9k Bridge Run :

Finish time = 59:01
Net Time = 58:08
Age Category 70+ = 1st Place!

1,640 placing from 9,105 Entrants & 7,824 Finishers!!!

  2. Going by those results you finished in the top 20% as well as First for your Age Category. That's a bloody good effort LL.

The beaut things about training programs is the flexibility to be able to swap the days around and do easy days when our bodies beg for one. Good on you!

  4. That's fantastic!!!! Huge congrats LL. Wow, top 20%. All the hard work pays off, doesn't it.

I had a health checkup thing at work this morning and the guy doing it was a runner (from Woollongong). He knew all about you from reading CR! So if your eyes were burning you know why. Don't worry, it was all good :-)

  5. Congratulations Lucky Legs on the age group win. And fantastic all that new coaching has made you faster than 80% of the other runners. Might get you a faster marathon again.

  6. This is terrible. It's so hard to spot you when you're in the front half of the field ;)

Close to an 'out of sight' performance CB.

  7. Close to? I'd say that was an out-of-sight performance on a bright, warm and sunny day! That dark night stuff is a thing of the past, LL :-)

    Congratulations again.
